Usage Of Data

The app (bot) may use stored data, as defined below, for features including but not limited to: scheduling messages, handling timed messages, managing chat rewards, sticky messages, and command execution. No data will be used outside of these purposes, and the data is not shared with any third-party sites or services.

Stored Information

The bot (app) will automatically save the server's ID when it is invited to a new Discord server.

Updating Data

The data may be updated when using specific features of the app (bot). Such updates often require user input, including data that can be seen as identifiable and sensitive, such as text messages. This data is kept in the database and used only for its intended purpose.

Temporarily Stored Information

The app (bot) may keep the stored information in an internal caching mechanism for a certain amount of time to reduce database requests. After a specified time period, the cached data will be discarded and only reacquired when needed. Data may be dropped from cache prematurely through actions such as removing the app (bot) from the server.

Removal Of Data

Automatic Removal

Stored data can be removed automatically by removing the app (bot) from a server using Discord's moderation features. Re-adding the app (bot) will store data again, as described in the Stored Information section of this policy.

Manual Removal

Manual removal of data can be requested through the official Flaux Support Discord server. For security reasons, proof of server ownership will be required. Only a server owner may request manual data removal, and requesting it will result in the app (bot) being removed from the server if still present.

History

Flaux began as a simple project intended for a single community server. However, as more people expressed interest in adding it to their own servers, Flaux quickly grew beyond its original scope, evolving into the bot it is today.
